Tranquil Monday : Wrapping up
We are sharing some of our favorite artist' works which depicted serene visual narrative to fill your monday with tranquility. Here are the wrapped up of our first series.
Firstly, we're featuring a notable French illustrator, Jean Jullien. He has continued to create a vivid works touching upon summertime beach scenes in "Le Jardin Bleu", a series of acrylic paintings portraying happiest and slow days in the summertime.
Fauvism Movement: André Derain & Henri Matisse
Secondly, we're featuring a fauvism movement in the early twentieth-century by André Derain and Henri Matisse. The style which emphasized painterly qualities and strong color over the representational or realistic values retained by Impressionism. Hence, it portrayed an alluring visual impressions.
Lastly, we're featuring a world's most expensive living artist, David Hockney. He is one of the most important contributors to the pop art movement and considered as the most influential British artists of the 20th century.
