As for our fourth volume, we're featuring Adhi Waluyo. His playlist contains mixed alternative rock/psychedelic/indie genres featuring Queen, Holy Hive, Slow Pulp, and many more!

Check out the interview session on the following

Why have you picked these songs?
Each song has a certain part which got me hooked, such as unique guitar licks and arousing chorus. They may not have an upbeat tempo but I’m sure you’ll find the part where you want to listen to these songs over and over again. I’d say the mix of echoes, spacey guitar effects and distinct drum beat are some of the main factors.

When or where should this playlist be listened to?
When you have a lot to do and a lot to think, put this in between.

Are there certain song you repeatedly listen to during the different parts of your working hour?
“Cool Cat” by Queen. It’s one of their underrated songs, however, the song isn’t like any other Queen’s song. You can hear the flawless combination of walking bassline, drums, synths, plus a jazz-influenced guitar (here’s interesting fact: the instruments were recorded by the bassist alone). Also, Mercury’s falsetto will blow you away and of course it’ll send shivers down your spine.

Can you tell us how this playlist can affect your mood?
There are times when you’re ahead everybody in terms of achieving something and when you’re not. However, have you enjoyed the time when you’re in between? When you are struggling with something and don’t know what would your outcome be? Put this playlist on and I hope it’ll give you a positive vibe. Finally, I can only say this will put you at ease. Your mind, especially.
